My husband and I stopped by yesterday while visiting Wilmington. I absolutely loved this store! The customer service was outstanding. We purchased a glass pen, coloring book, paint, journals. She took time to explain the pens and how they work. It was close to closing time and she actually stayed past closing time to make sure we had everything that we needed. All the brands in the store are top notch. This is now one of my favorite stores. I love crafting and writing and learned so much more while visiting this store.

I stopped in to check out their fountain pen collection. I may not have left with a fountain pen but I did walk out with fountain pen ink (Twsbi orange), some Gellyroll pens (my favorite after fountain pens), and a Rhodia notebook (my new favorite for fountain pen ink). I absolutely adore this store and can't wait for the online shop to open so I can order even when I'm not in town.

I went to this beautiful store looking for some pet sympathy cards and she was so helpful. She showed me there large selection they offer and I was able to get a few cards to send to my friends who recently lost pets. I will definitely be back for cards, journals and cute gifts in the future.

Occasions is such an interesting store and definitely one of the best in the Cotton Exchange. It's rare now to find a store selling stationary, quality pens, cards, journals etc. Peg, the owner, is always friendly and welcoming. She will give you any help you need but will also allow you to browse at your leisure. Covid affected so many small business negatively but gotta say Peg never lost her smile throughout.I buy all my cards there and my grand kids love the Pop Ups. She also has a great selection of unusual fun gifts, art and decor items. I never leave the store without making a purchase and this also makes me happy as I am helping a very well deserving local small business.

I'm crazy about Occasions. They have an excellent selection of cards, papers, writing instruments, inks, etc. The staff is friendly and helpful. There's always something new. Good gift items. An amazing amount of nice things in a small shop. Parking is easy.
